Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The Dietary Supervisor, Madison House will supervise all facets of the dietary department of Madison House. In coordination with Director, the Supervisor will maintain required departmental reports required by the State and Public Health Regulations. The Supervisor will oversee and participate in the service and preparation of resident/participant food/snacks and special dietary needs to ensure the highest quality standards. Additionally, this individual will ensure that staff adhere to standards of production, safety, sanitation and infection control and maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. The Supervisor will assist Director with food ordering and dietary policy revision and implementation. The Supervisor is responsible for initial and ongoing dietary assessments of residents/participants and menu approval coordinated with registered dietician.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two to three years dietary experience in a supervisor role, preferably in healthcare. Valid and active Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred
