DescriptionThe Occupational therapost (OT) provides specialized Occupational therapy services to residents and is respnsible for the direction and supervision of COTAs, Rehab Aides and affiliating Occupational therapy/Occupational therapy assistant students. The OT works closely with other facility departments to assure the delivery of quality resident care. The OT is responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.RequirementsMust possess a current, unencumbered, active license or certificate to practice as an OT in this stateMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the English LanguageMust posses the ability to make independent decisons, when circumstances warrant such actionMust be knowledgeable of medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term careMust possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously wiht and supervise other personnel
