Athletic Trainer, AT/AEMT/Paramedic - ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC - Atlanta, GAWe are looking for an energetic and results-driven Industrial Athletic Trainer with an AEMT/Paramedic background or experience to provide injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield - Jackson International Airport. We strive to increase the industrial athlete's ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative teamConsistent, full-time schedule available or flexible part-time/PRN options tooShift differential for night and weekend workRelocation assistanceAnnual bonus potentialWhat will you be doing in this role?Providing proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as defined by OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural education and/or escalation of medical care if neededCoordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessaryProviding ergonomic assessments and support by understanding the site operations, job processes, and physical demands in order to make ergonomic recommendations for the purposes of preventing more serious musculoskeletal conditions from occurringPatient assessment and treatment which includes medical triage, wound care, and medical checks (i.e. blood pressure, diabetic glucose checks)Performing vision, hearing, and respiratory testingCollecting and analyzing urine samplesProvide non-occupational and intramuscular injections as neededEmergency response when needed for acute medical or life-threatening eventsProviding medical advice, education, and resourcesKeeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency while being able to provide feedback to the industrial athlete and client for continuous health improvementsUnderstanding and providing reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations managementThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the job.
