Responsibilities for an EHS Intern may include one or more of the following: + Working with team members to assist in day-to-day activities of the department. + Assisting in coordination and preparation of reports, training manuals, and programs. + Performing job hazard analysis, machine guarding, or PPE assessments. + Program, policy, and/or procedure development, review, and/or implementation to include but limited to: + Behavior Based Safety Project – Develop training materials for implementation of a Behavior Based Safety program. + Hazcom Program to include Safety Data Sheet review / update. + Develop a 5S Program for Overhead Crane rigging. + Lockout / Tagout audit of procedures and equipment review / update. + Ergonomic Program + Fall Protection Program + Supporting investigations and data analyses.
