Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview:

The Pictsweet Company is growing We are currently seeking an AP Clerk to join our accounts payable team at the corporate headquarters in Bells, TN. The AP clerk will verify, process, and issue payments for The Pictsweet Company invoices.

• Verifies and vouchers all Outside Purchase invoices for payment
• Verifies and vouchers all Packaging invoices
• Process and code NAPA Auto Parts and Bells Hardware monthly statements
• Process manual checks and upload to the bank
• Compile and maintain monthly utilities data and invoice properties for reimbursement
• Verifies and tracks gas totals, charges, revenue, and sales tax for Bells Amoco
• Communicates daily with various other Pictsweet departments and vendors concerning payments or issues related to payables
• Sets up new vendors in the system, verifies and processes daily accepted batches and files open payables
• Pulls check register, verifies payment information, mails checks for the week's check run, and files paid invoices
• Operates computer, calculator and backup for switchboard

• Two years in college Accounting and/or at least one year of Accounts Payable experience
• A high school diploma or GED
