Mammography Technologist

Pride Health is hiring Mammography Tech to support our client's hospital facility in McAllen, TX. This is an 8-month contract-to-hire opportunity (Travel and local options).
Duties:
- Perform Bilateral Mammography Screenings
- Greet / Assist Patients
- Enter Data into RIS/PACS and Transmit Images.
- Perform Daily QC/QA on Mammography Equipment
- Support Mobile mammography Clinic.
- Consistently perform high quality digital 2D screening mammograms
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required
- ARRT (M) and General MRT are required in State of TX.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.
Education/Experience Required
- Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch from 12-1pm; 40 hrs week)
Location: McAllen, TX
Floating Requirements: The mobile coach serves the patient population, providing mammography services at clients and contracted clinics primarily in the local Rio Grande Valley area (McAllen, Brownsville, Weslaco, etc.) but sometimes requires travel to surrounding areas (Laredo, Eagle Pass, Uvalde, etc.).
Pay range: $50-62/hour or $2512-2860 weekly package
