Coder II - Inpatient and Observation

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement following the training period but requires onsite work initially at the Schneck Medical Center campus for a period of 3 months to one year depending upon the level of coding experience of candidate. In addition, monthly staff meetings and additional training requirements require in-person attendance.

Pay starts at $19.67/hr

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Minimum: High School graduate and AHIMA Credentials - RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P OR AAPC credentials CPC, COC, or CIC required.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred: Minimum 1-3 years coding experience in inpatient and/or observation coding
