Job Title: Senior UC Engineering
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: Princeton/Delaware (Hybrid - Resource is expected to be in office for at-least 4 days a week)
Experience: 8+ Years
Responsibilities:
  • Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementation, optimization and security of Cisco Unified Communications system. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting infrastructure and services including CUCM, CUC, IMP, Jabber, Webex, video infrastructure and all other Unified Communications application.
    • Carry out maintenance/upgrades on all Infrastructure and endpoints
    • Own analysis of new technologies from start to finish
    • Provide support to Video Infrastructure team lead
    • Carry out security review of infrastructure and applications
    • Research, analyze, recommend and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems and processes to provide state-of-the-art collaboration experience.
    • Document procedures and processes
    • Develop and maintain user guides, technical guides, project plans and any other system related documentation for respective system.
    • Create help files for support teams
    • Offer thoughts and solutions on improving current technology
    • Escalate issues to vendors
    • Provide metrics/reports for conferencing services

Required Skills:
• Ideally CCIE Collaboration, however CCNP Collaboration will be considered

• Self-sufficient, can own an issue and work on it till completion.
• Basic knowledge of the financial services industry.

• dvanced knowledge of troubleshooting tools (WireShark etc)
• Knowledge of Intrado E911 solution
• Knowledge of Zabbix, Grafana or other monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Zoom
• Knowledge of H.323
• Knowledge of SIP
• Knowledge of NAT
• Knowledge of Firewall Traversal
• Knowledge of VMware architecture
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server environment (2019, 2022)
• Knowledge of Citrix VDI environment
• Knowledge of MAC OSX environment
• dvanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment (Windows 10)
• Knowledge of MobileIron (MDM) environment
• Knowledge of Networking technologies (Switches, Routers, F5 load balancers, DNS, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, QoS)
• Experience with Cisco TAC support (raising cases, escalating)
Desirable skills:
• dvanced Excel skills
• Programming/Scripting experience (Visual Basic/Python etc)
• Rest API knowledge (POSTMAN experience a plus)
• Documentation skills (Visio a plus)
