Cardiology Interventional physician job in Pennsylvania :

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our on-call team. This role provides schedule flexibility, allowing you to contribute to exceptional patient care during critical situations. For an efficient onboarding process, local providers or those with immediate commuting availability are preferred.

Candidate Requirements:

• Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology 
• Active Pennsylvania medical license 
• Required to have ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, 5 years preferred 

Practice Setting:

• 100% adult patient base
• This position is designed for solo providers

Schedule:

• The schedule is flexible and coverage is required on an as-needed basis 
• Staff may be called in about 10 times a month, with 0 to 4 calls possible over a weekend
• In the event of a STEMI, the physician will be notified through phone and pager, necessitating a confirmation callback to the switchboard

Cases & Procedures:

• This role mainly involves conducting patient consultations, with hospitalists managing admissions. It does not include admitting patients but does require readiness to cover critical conditions such as STEMIs and acute pulmonary emboli
• The position entails performing PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) and managing Pulmonary Embolism cases
