Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Aide (PCA) Location: Suffolk County, NY Compensation: $18.55 - $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem Job Description: Always Compassionate Home Care is a licensed Home Health Care Agency which provides the highest quality of community home-based services, combined with exceptional compassion and innovation to enhance each patient's quality of life. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques Assist with tube feeding and other specialized medical procedures Provide emotional support and companionship to patients --Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient Benefits: 401(k) Medical insurance Referral bonus Flexible schedule 24/7 on-call assistance Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures Experience working with patients in hospice care, memory care, or those with developmental disabilities is a plus Ability to lift and move patients safely Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving
