ROLE MISSION: Execute the styling and manage production for all photography projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The ideal

Stylist + Studio Specialist

is a multi-faceted role that encompasses multiple aspects of our internal photography process. They will be responsible for image content creation including; set and product styling, shot list development, studio maintenance, and the production aspects of every photo shoot, all based on briefed objectives and creative direction. The

Stylist + Studio Specialist

will be required to understand and implement critical creative direction, have a strategic and customer centric understanding of product, manage multiple tasks and projects at a time, and solve creative challenges in an intense, speed-centric environment.

STYLIST RESPONSIBILITIES: General knowledge of retail studio settings, Canon camera systems, and Apple computer systems, and Lightroom preferred. Work directly with Photographer and Creative Director, shooting a weekly workflow of 10-30 images. Ensure final image adheres to requested marketing need and format standards for each channel; ads, email, social, site, etc. On set styling. Collaborate throughout styling process with Photographer and Creative Director, accept and implement critical feedback to achieve a high standard for final image. Prepare all products, props and wardrobe for photography, including steaming, straightening, stuffing, removing tags or packaging, and cleaning. Scout, purchase, and procure props and sets in a resourceful and creative manner. Communicate with Product Development partners to accurately represent key product features and details, while maintaining brand appropriateness and creative direction. Strive to develop new and innovative styling solutions. Contribute creative and innovative ideas and concepts for product imagery, assist creative leadership in the development of photo concepts and actionable shot lists. In collaboration with Product Development and Photographer develop shoot direction and shot lists for new product launches. Work with product and/or models in studio or on location when necessary. Prepare sets and ensure all styling supplies and product samples are on-hand and available. Contribute to the positive morale of the photo studio. Manage prop returns in a timely and efficient manner; maintain and organize in-house photo prop archive. Clean and maintain organization of studio, implementing new organizational systems as needs arise.

PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage calendar, work-flow, and photo scheduling expectations by season/month. Set up image concepting docs, share weekly creative meeting agenda, and provide comprehensive notes after each meeting. Host pre-production meetings to review shot lists and creative expectations for all contributing partners. Act as photography producer, oversee and manage logistics for all in-house and out-of-house, studio or location photo shoots. Manage image usage rights. Scout, procure and manage approval of model talent when needed. Work directly with internal retouching team to maintain database of all received samples and photographed product for each new season. Reconcile spend against monthly budget, adhere to monthly budgets, plan annual budgetary needs in collaboration with creative leadership.

REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 Years of photo styling experience for a retail or ecommerce based brand BA/BS in Fine Art, Multi Media Design, Merchandising, or equivalent work experience Must work well in a team environment Strong aesthetic eye with superior composition and communication skills Strong organization and multi-tasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often; meet deadlines Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software required; Lightroom a plus Experience working in project management software, specifically Planner, Bynder, and Sharepoint a plus Ability to build relationships quickly, and work well with many different teams and personalities by Jobble
