Location: 1242 E Edna Place, Covina, CA, USA **Essential Job Functions:**

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments.

Prepares product or materials for shipment.

Recommends method of shipment, applying knowledge of shipping procedures, routes

and rates.

Applying shipping labels, identifying information and shipping instructions

on shipments/containers.

Posts weights and shipping charges, adds postage.

Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks). **Non-Essential Duties:**

Special projects as needed.

Perform other duties as required. **Job Requirements:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative

of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

High School Diploma or GED. 2-4 years of solid knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to perform work quickly and accurately. Strong attention to details. Forklift certified (Recertification available if necessary) Willingness to assist in other areas as needed Adheres to company policy and safety procedures Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance and is punctual Ability to read and write. Ability to use scanners and computers Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Ability to work well with others Ability to perform repetitive motions using hands and wrists. Ability to push, pull, squat down to floor and reach overhead. Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
