ICU Nurse Per Diem

Department: Adult IP Admission Unit

FTE: 0.05

Shift: Nights

Job Summary: As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to ICU assigned patients consistent with clinical specialty independent of location. The role involved delivering quality patient care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. This per diem position requires a minimum of two shifts per schedule, with the inclusion of one summer and one winter holiday as well as one weekend shift per schedule. Patient care assignment may include neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics age groups.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of nationally accredited nursing program
  • 1 year directly related experience in ICU nursing
  • CPR for healthcare/BLS Prov or Professional Rescuers w/in 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Working Conditions: This role involves heavy work, exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Significant Hazard: Chemicals, Biohazardous Materials, and PPE may be required.
