Job Type Full-timeDescriptionRecovery Unplugged is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians at our Lake Worth locationRecovery Unplugged is a licensed drug and alcohol treatment center with multiple locations throughout the country. We provide long term substance abuse treatment for clients coming from all over the U.S. starting with detox to residential care, PHP and IOP program. We have a cutting-edge approach which blends evidence-based treatment with music to enhance client outcomes.Responsibilities:Establish open lines of communication and build rapport for individuals with behavioral or emotional issues.Work with clients to ensure house rules are being followed.Complete all steps of client intakes; drug test upon intake, search of client belongings/property, complete intake with client through KIPU.Complete all steps of client discharges; return personal belongings to client and have client sign discharge paperwork in KIPU.Perform waived drug testing on incoming intakes and random UA's on clients.Complete Q15 checks to ensure safety of clientsMake sure property is clean at all times. Requirements High School diploma or GEDValid Driver's LicenseFlexibility in scheduleKnowledge and understanding of the 12 steps and the disease model of addictionPreferred experience with KIPU EMR Salary Description $16.00-$17.00
