As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the health and well-being of the community's youngest members.Highlights:+ Full-time opportunity+ Patient-centric, physician-led medical home model with advanced clinical practitioners+ 24-hour advice nurse available+ Work in a collegial and supportive environment+ Shareholder track opportunity+ Generous two-year guarantee compensation and benefits+ Productivity bonus availableResponsibilities:+ Conducting thorough medical examinations, including growth and development assessments, to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions.+ Providing preventive care, vaccinations, and immunizations to promote overall health and prevent illnesses.+ Evaluating and managing acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.+ Developing personalized treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress over time, adjusting interventions as needed.+ Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.+ Educating parents and caretakers on child health, nutrition, safety, and other relevant topics.+ Conducting screenings for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, and providing appropriate referrals and interventions.+ Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.+ Staying informed about the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and pediatric research. Adhering to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.Qualifications:+ Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.+ Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.+ Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.+ Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices.+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, parents, and healthcare team members.+ Empathy and patience when working with children and their families.+ Attention to detail and ability to make accurate diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.+ Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.This is a shareholder track opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health/dental/vision insurance, malpractice insurance, and a robust retirement plan.
