The Department of Internal Medicine, University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Geriatrician provider to join at the Assistant/ Associate/Professor level. This role will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of medical policies and procedures/standards and protocols related to geriatric patient care. This role will also provide direction and supervision to related primary care providers. This position will provide leadership and guidance to colleagues and providers in the local community. In addition, this role will be expected to participate in academic medicine to include teaching students, housestaff, and fellows. Clinical work will consist of both outpatient and inpatient care.

Successful completion/in process of completing an ACGME accredited Geriatric Fellowship program
Board certified in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Geriatrics
Ability to obtain medical license/DEA for the state of Alabama
