**Summary**

We are looking for a custodian to join our team in Covington, Georgia Youll work 7 AM to 3:30 PM , Monday-Friday

**Essential Functions**

* Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stem cleaning, shampooing or vacuuming

* Gather and empty trash and recycling

* Service, clean, and supply restrooms

* Clean and polish furniture and fixtures

* Operate riding floor scrubbers, vacuums, sweepers and carpet extractors

* Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

* Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment

* Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications

* Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors

* Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks

* Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems

* Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels

* Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events

* Any and all other duties/tasks assigned

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate basic instructions

* Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

* Frequent walking, bending, lifting, stooping, squatting, and kneeling
