The 267-bed hospital offers major medical services including a Level II Trauma Center as well as specialized Cardiovascular Care Stroke Care Orthopedics Neurological Surgery Comprehensive Cancer Care Maternity Care and da Vinci Robotic Surgery. It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. In addition the hospital’s network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living. Mercy Medical Center Redding is a member of the Dignity Health system and is a sister facility to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta. The Paramedic will provide safe therapeutic care for these patients by the use of the Emergency Medical system. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Six (6) months of experience as a paramedic with an accredited EMS agency or Fire department required (Hiring manger may consider the applicants field internship as a qualifying experience if the preceptorship was completed at a Dignity Health North State Service Area facility and successfully complete) + Current California Paramedic license required + Current ACLS BLS PALS required (must be certified through the American Heart Association) + Current Drivers License required + Current Ambulance Driver license and Medical Examiner license required + Sacramento-Sacramento Valley EMS licensure required **Pay Range** $41.46 - $47.79 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
