Paramedic - Emergency Department Description: Assist with patient care: IV starts Lab draws, including blood cultures Rapid assessment- lobby and triage patients when ED is full and patients are in lobby All duties of Nurse Tech (transport, POC testing, EKG, etc#) Other assistive duties as delegated by nursing staff # Experience/Education: Graduate of a school of Paramedicine Experience in EMS preferred Licensed by the Georgia Department of Public Health as a Paramedic Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.
