Job description

Founded in 1989, UNIS LLC has grown into a major, nationally recognized Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL).

**Yard Jockey/Driver Duties:**

* Yard Jockey's will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving.

* Safety is always the key, so driver must be safety minded, perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels

* Be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions, and check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors.

* Ability to work in fast paced environment, moving approximately 90+ moves per shift, with a VERY tight yard

* Driver must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting and taking direction from dispatchers, or warehouse managers on a consistent basis through radio and on board computer system.

**Driver Requirements:**

18 months or more Yard Jockey experience within the last 3 years.

Must have a good driving record
