Purpose/Scope: To provide quality blockout/layout materials to setup crews for rolling and/or fixed beds. Including plastic, wood, foam, or other materials as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and tend panel saws, chops saws, table saws, routers, wood-nailing machines, and/or other equipment as necessary.From given dimensions in blueprint format (castbooks/panel drawings), cut to fit and assemble blockouts, rips, IP's, etc., as required.Verify dimensions tape measures/rules to 1/16th of an inch.Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit.Ensure wood isn't warped, cracked, or swollen.Deliver all finished products to the appropriate areas.Clean daily and maintain continually a safe work environment.Basic Qualifications: Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.Wood-working skills and previous experience.Ability to read plans.Other Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Carpentry backgroundPhysical Requirements: Field:Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailerWork Environment: Field: All types of weather conditions (year-round, Mid-west and Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehiclesEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
