For well over a century our commitment to serve our community inspires our staff to provide the highest quality of care to all who we have the privilege to serve.Responsibilities* Performs electrocardiogram tests and understands fundamentals of good technique* Corroborates clinical history and assesses patient for appropriateness of ordered procedure* Provides patient education, applies patient relations skills and maintain confidentiality of patients and customers in a safe and professional manner* Assumes responsibility for assigned area, reporting equipment malfunctions and procedure difficulties* Is responsible for completing quarterly mandatory education requirements* Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development through participation in department meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programs* Performs value-added activities that result in positive customer satisfaction and/or financial performance* Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives as assigned* Participates in all safety, security, and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department* All team members are responsible for maintaining a positive work environment and participating in departmental problem-solvingHelloImaging ImagingNebraska #MissionCritical #LI-CHIQualificationsEducation* High School Diploma or EquivalentCertification* AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationKnowledge, Skills & Abilities* Requires basic technical knowledge and computer skills for procedure completion and report reconciliationPreferred Qualifications* Basic computer and clerical skills* Proper patient preparation and lead placement for ECG's, holter monitors, and event recorders* Proper use of each type of equipment for the above procedures and the ECG reporting system* Basic cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias* Ability to transport equipment to various areas in the hospital and assist patients on and off exam table
