**Light Industrial/Manufacturing** **APG Mechanic - Job ID#205651** Greenville, SC Posted: 4/24/2024 Job Description Job ID#: 205651 Job Category: Light Industrial/Manufacturing Position Type: Associate - W2 Duration: 52 Shift: 1 Positions Available: 5 **PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an APG Mechanic, in Greenville, SC.** **Job Description:** -F-16 Depot Mechanic- -Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft. -Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. -Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair. -Must have minimum of 4 years F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance experience -Must be able to work first or second shift -Must be extremely versed in F-16, Fighter type mechanic experience Crew Chiefs, Plane Captains, etc people that have done maintenance on fighters or other heavy related maintenance. -Military Fighter aircraft experience (F-16 a MUST) -Must be able to work first or second shift -No tools Required Requirements: Areas of ExpertiseF-16Yes24 - 6 Years Areas of ExpertiseFlight line MaintenanceNo14 - 6 Years Technical SkillsFighter Experience (F16,F18,F22,F35)Yes14 - 6 Years Technical SkillsAircraft Launch and RecoveryNo42 - 4 Years Technical SkillsAircraft TowingNo52 - 4 Years Job Requirements Minimum Security Clearance: No Clearance **VEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled** The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
