This role will work alongside dedicated and talented individuals who are committed to providing top-notch end-to-end management of billing operations, patient monitoring services, and more. As a Certified Professional Coder, you will play a key role in ensuring that all medical bills are coded and processed efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have experience working in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient medical records to identify appropriate codes for billing purposes.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of medical records to ensure appropriate coding.
  • Communicate with medical staff to clarify medical procedures and diagnoses to ensure accuracy of coding.
  • Enter data into computer systems for billing purposes.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on coding rules and regulations.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement.
  • Provide training and guidance to other employees on coding and billing procedures
Requirements Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required Minimum two years of experience in medical coding Knowledge of coding rules and regulations, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Ability to read and interpret medical records Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
