Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist
Job Opening Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. Under the direction of the director/charge person, this position involves monitoring procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensuring safe patient care, and serving as a scrub assistant.
Education:
Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or respiratory therapy.
In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years of experience and:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification (required within 12 months of hire) or
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification (required within 12 months of hire).
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license with a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (preferred) or Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license with a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (preferred).
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification (required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields).
