The Director of Sales is a pivotal leadership role within our dynamic sales department. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Customer Experience, this position is tasked with steering our sales teams towards substantial growth, profitability, and the maintenance of our TECH, AMS, Salvadori, and PANG brands' sales channels. The role demands a strategic yet hands-on approach to business development, aiming to fulfill and surpass the strategic business plan's objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Strategic Leadership & Growth:
Direct sales team activities to secure new accounts and expand our product presence within existing accounts.
Set and achieve sales performance targets in alignment with TRC's strategic objectives and revenue goals.
Identify and explore new sales opportunities, markets, and partnerships to foster growth and innovation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across current and prospective customer bases, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service.
Respond effectively to customer needs with suitable product and service solutions.
Coordinate with the marketing team to effectively launch new offerings.
Facilitate sales training and conduct regular sales meetings.
Develop and implement results-oriented sales plans, tools, and proposals.
Monitor sales performance, adjust strategies as needed, and manage sales forecasting with precision.
Responsibility for several direct reports through AMS sales team.
Operational Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within TRC to enhance product management, customer service, and market penetration.
Employ CRM and lead generation tools to optimize sales processes and strategies.
Advocate for TRC's HILTI values, ensuring they are at the core of all business development activities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or sales management role, preferably within the tire service, recycling equipment, or industrial product sectors.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth and leading successful teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a commitment to integrity and accountability.
Skills and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the industry's market trends and dynamics.
Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as required for industry events and customer meetings.
Commitment to enforcing company policies and upholding TRCs values.
