Are you a highly self-motivated, professional, and speedy bookkeeper? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. We are currently seeking a part-time bookkeeper who will be responsible for maintaining books on a regular basis, with a specific emphasis on key bookkeeping tasks such as taxes, payroll, and other financial items. While having some understanding of the food/restaurant industry would be helpful, it is not a requirement for this role.

To be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities and experience. We highly value individuals with a bright, cheerful attitude as well as a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, including 2 years of payroll experience. It is essential to have experience in at least three different types of businesses, as this demonstrates adaptability and versatility. Candidates who have worked with high-volume clients will have an added advantage. We prefer candidates with proficiency in QuickBooks software, and we highly value a desire to learn new things.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for effective collaboration with team members and clear communication with clients. As confidentiality is of utmost importance in this role, candidates should have a demonstrated practice of maintaining high-level confidentiality. Advanced computer knowledge is essential, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, as bookkeeping tasks often involve data management and analysis. Candidates should also possess proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and ensure efficiency in bookkeeping operations. Strong analytical and reporting skills are vital to generate accurate financial reports and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Additionally, exhibiting punctuality and professionalism is crucial in maintaining a high standard of work ethics.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who works well with limited supervision, diligently follows projects through to completion, and consistently performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to multitask is important to handle various bookkeeping responsibilities simultaneously and maintain productivity.
