We are a facility where talented people are given the opportunity to use their special skills, be creative and sometimes push the envelope.We are currently looking for Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care-Full Time/Days. Responsibilities:Primarily evaluating & caring for Residents' wound needs.Providing wound care services; wound debridement, application & removal of dressings.Performing weekly skin assessments of Residents under their care.Assures, maintains and implements care plans as directed.Assess, monitor & record Residents progress during the healing phase.Responsible for educating Residents on proper care for their wounds.Other nursing duties as assigned by DON.Requirements:Must have a current New York State Registered Nurse license.Specialized in Wound care preferredShort Term/Subacute care experience preferredExcellent work ethicMust have demonstrated ability to make decisions with good nursing judgment, handle emergencies and maintain excellent patient assessment skill.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageCompensation:Rate will be commensurate with experience/licensure.Benefits:•Medical, dental and vision coverage available.
