Expected Duration: 02+ Months Job Type: [FULL TIME [CONTRACT], [Remote] Pay Range:[$55] - [$60] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: 1. Minimum 3+ years experience with Figma 2. Minimum 3+ years experience with React 3. Minimum 3+ years experience with Design Systems 4. Minimum 5+ years experience with UX/UI in a similar industry 5. Minimum 2+ years experience shipping production-ready code because of a collaborative process. Description: We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented UX Engineer 2 who can meticulously craft our collective vision through code while being an influential liaison between the UX and Engineering teams to up-level our quality across the organization-building consistent, intuitive, and accessible experiences leveraging modern aesthetics and the latest generative AI technology while continually improving based on telemetry and customer feedback. Deepens knowledge and mastery of engineering fundamentals (e.g., interpreting designs, writing code, working with source control). * Develops and/or enables front end design solutions, technical prototypes, tooling, and/or user interface systems (e.g., controls, animation libraries, utilities). * Builds out Figma UI components with code so they can be used by engineers. * Leverages techniques to make designs accessible, performance oriented, and reusable. * Collaborates with product owners and development team members to shepherd end-to-end experiences from concept to product shipment for products. * Presents to teams (e.g., Design and Engineering) and/or customers to receive feedback and understand user needs. * Interacts with Engineering for successful design implementation and performs Quality Assurances (QAs) to help them ensure "pixel perfect" designs. * Works with developers to iterate further on designs during implementation to ensure optimal designs. Develops an aptitude for limitations of what is implementable and begins to challenge these limitations. * Master's a prescribed set of tools (e.g., software), and begins to build and maintain tools and platforms. * Masters prescribed codebases and design systems (e.g., content templates, icons, form design, UI controls, navigation models). Shares learnings and collaborates with other designers to share education for team improvements. Contributes to existing codebases, design systems, and themes; connects ideas across teams. * Helps organize communication with Engineering and feature teams outside of core team through all stages of design and development to ensure effective communication across groups. * Influences both designer and non-designer collaborators.
