(ismarckmandan.com/)** We are a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization where our goal is not to prosper personally, but rather, to enhance the lives of those seeking wellness. **Position Details:** + Anesthesia team is comprised of 7 physicians and 16 CRNAs + Generous comp plus callback and extra shift pay. + Coverage of one hospital - no ASC + 30-40 cases per day + Case mix: Bread and Butter: General, Ortho, Cardiac, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Spine etc. + EPIC EMR + Medical Supervision of CRNA's - 4 CRNA's per MD + Call: 1:8 Call from home + Full Benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision, Short and Long term disability, life insurance, retirement, and malpractice. **About CHI St. Alexius Health** CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. Communication: + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. Documentation: + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. Diagnostic Procedures: + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. Team Collaboration: + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. Quality Improvement: + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. Compliance: + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
