Job Description

Summary of Duties: Responsible for overall quality assurance throughout application development cycle for functional area. Partner with development team for overall code quality. Execute tests and improve iteratively as new features become part of regression and other test cycles. Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing. Create tests. Analyze product features and product as a whole, to ensure it behaves as intended. Develop, document, and maintain test cycles, tests and test steps for software, services and hardware. Provide manual and automated exploratory testing as well as refine and define additional test cases for feature. Develop and maintain QA automation framework for UI and backend services developed by e-commerce platform. Leverage and enhance coding standards and best practices for automated QA code. Conduct code reviews to ensure consistency, quality and reusability of test automation artifacts.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and 5 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study and 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

  • 3 years of experience in both Agile and Waterfall approaches to Software Quality Assurance;
  • 3 years of API testing experience with Spring Boot, Rest Assured, and Postman;
  • 3 years of experience writing tests and validating code in parallel with applications development team;
  • 3 years of experience using specialized testing tools and services including Jira or similar Software Development Life Cycle tools;
  • testing of eCommerce, Point Of Sale (POS) or Software as a Service (SaaS) applications;
  • SQL or NoSQL Database;
  • testing UI application with QTP, Webdriver or Selenium; and
  • testing mobile websites and native mobile applications (including iOS, Android, and Windows).

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. For skills #1-4, employer will accept 1 year of experience when qualifying with a Master’s degree.
