Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision:
Develop and implement annual sales objectives and strategies aligned with our corporate goals.
Financial Acumen:
Create and manage an annual sales budget to achieve strategic objectives, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Performance Analysis : Provide insightful bi-annual reports on sales results, product trending, and market dynamics.
Collaborative Leadership : Work closely with the Marketing Manager and department to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs.
Team Management:
Lead and inspire Sales Managers and teams, overseeing the entire Sales and Marketing Departments. Conduct performance appraisals, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting and Communication: Provide upper management with monthly status reports, ensuring transparent and effective communication through our ERP system and other reporting software.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with the 6S team, adhering to procedures outlined for efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
Confidentiality and Project Management : Protect the organization's value by handling sensitive information with discretion. Complete tasks and projects within specified timeframes, communicating project status to the President as needed.
Team Player : Work cohesively within the team, supporting decisions made by the President and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Goal Tracking : Create and maintain monthly reporting for the President, tracking progress towards established goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience : Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; six to eight years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present information effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
Math and Reasoning Ability : Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and analytical reasoning.
Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, internet browsers, and various software relevant to sales, marketing, and project management.
Supervisory Experience : Proven experience managing and leading teams, with a track record of successful team development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Time management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily required to sit, talk, or hear. Occasionally, standing, walking, and light lifting may be required.
Work Environment:
The work environment is dynamic, occasionally exposed to conditions such as wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and moderate noise levels.
