ELIGIBLE FOR A SIGN ON BONUS Position Summary: Under the direction of a Radiologist and accountable to the Manager of Imaging, performs various ultrasound services and and duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures at a specified technical level and be self directed in that area. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply acquired ultrasound knowledge for a medical diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for supervising ancillary personnel and students assigned with in the department. Activates repairs and controls work progress within those areas of designated responsibility. Processes information on Granville Medical Center#s Information System as required in performing job responsibilities. Qualifications: Associates degree in a medical related field required. Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasonography or have equivalent experience as defined by the American registry of Diagnostic medical Ultrasonographers in order to be registry eligible. Must be currently registered or registry eligible. pursues programs of continuing education consistent with the requirements of the RDMS.
