Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Assembler to join their dynamic team. Our client is a nationwide leader in in solving packing line productivity problems, with a full cycle manufacturing plant right in Perrysburg OH.

The Mechanical Assembler will play a huge role in the assembly, testing, and installation of custom machinery for clients nationwide

Successful candidates will have a mechanical OR assembly background, and a strong willingness to learn is a MUST.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience with mechanical work or assembly
- Troubleshooting experience
- Conveyor experience (preferred)
- Blueprint reading experience
- STRONG willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

- Assemble equipment per engineering designs and sketches and/or at the direction of the Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing Team Leaders.
- Test equipment with sample products supplied by the company to make sure it is functioning properly.
- Prepare equipment for shipping by disassembling equipment and loading on to skids.
- Maintain a good rapport with external customers to ensure we meet or exceed customers" expectations.
- Assist customers and their installation crews during the installation phase of a project.
- Assist in system checkout (check I/O, bumping motors, equipment rigging and installation, etc.) prior to system start-ups.
- Attend system start-ups for mechanical support and to perform standard line 'tweaking' to get system running.
- Adhere to all applicable Customer Site safety procedures and protocols.
