The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Program Officer who will play a vital role in supporting their mission to be a catalyst for collaborations, policy, and systems change that improve the health of South Florida communities, with a focus on vulnerable, low- to moderate-income populations.

You will be responsible for developing and managing grant programs that address critical healthcare needs in our region.

You Are a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in health services, program assessment, and development
  • Non-profit management experience
  • Relationship Management with Grantees
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and policies
  • Proficiency in grant writing and research methods

Education Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare, or Social Work

What You'll Do

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and develop impactful grant proposals (25%)
  • Collaborate with leadership to define program vision and strategy, seeking out areas for program improvement (10%)
  • Manage the implementation of strategic healthcare initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals (15%)
  • Foster a culture of accountability and track program progress towards established benchmarks (10%)
  • Generate comprehensive reports on grant proposals and awards, incorporating current healthcare trends (20%)
  • Conduct site visits, engage with the community, and participate in healthcare policy discussions (10%)
  • Leverage needs assessments to design new programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations (10%)
