Veterinary Technician

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour

Our focus is on being a place of comfort for our clients and pets, in sickness and in health. You will have the opportunity to reach your full potential as a Veterinary Technician performing all technical responsibilities to provide quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:
  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
  • Assists with radiographic procedures
  • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
  • Provide care to hospitalized patients
  • Manage invoicing of patients
  • Client communication and education
  • Admitting and discharging patients
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
  • At least one year of veterinary experience in a clinic setting
  • Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited program from a community college, college, or university preferred
  • Externship experience
