Summary Objective: $200 Sign-On BonusThe Facilities Technician 2 is responsible for providing a safe and functional club environment under the management of the Facilities Department and with the support of the club staff. The Facilities Technician 2 will respond and manage assigned work orders, complete repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance at assigned clubs.Essential Functions:Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every timeManage facility repair and maintenance workflow in Service ChannelComplete facility repairs in a timely mannerCommunicate with facility and club staffRegularly inspect clubs for repair and maintenance issues as well as hazardous conditionsJob Responsibilities:Create, manage, and respond to facility repair and maintenance work orders at assigned clubs.Complete regular inspections to identify and repair problemsComplete repairs in carpentry, tile, painting, drywall, and general building repairComplete all required plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair and maintenance as assignedAnswer all inquiries from senior leadership and management in a timely, complete mannerUphold club, building, facilities, service, program, and emergency proceduresAttend all mandatory meetingsAssume all other duties as assignedComplete after hours and emergency on-call work as neededRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, and other general facility repair tasksStrong understanding of commercial electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and experience working on that equipment independentlyStrong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detailAbility to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitudeOutwardly facing professional appearanceAbility to handle situations with patience, tact, and professionalismWillingness to work flexible hoursCommunicate verbally and non-verballyAbility to select and use appropriate tools safe and effectivelyRequired Experience, Education & Certifications:3-5 years of previous experience in facilities preferredValid Driver's LicenseOther relevant facility maintenance certificationsEmployee Benefits:All US Fitness team members receive:Complimentary Membership and Guest PrivilegesDiscounts on Personal Training, Mind&Body, Aquatics, and Kids ProgramsDiscounts on Serenity Day Spa Services and all apparelEmployee Referral GiftIn-house Continuing Education Credits and CEC ReimbursementAdditional Full Time Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Benefits and Group Life Insurance Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time OffRelocation: Candidates outside of the specified area are welcome to apply but if selected for an interview, they must be willing to travel at own cost.
