This position is responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and implements policies of the hospital related to surgery. Works alongside the circulating Registered Nurse and under the supervision of a surgeon to facilitate safe and effective care that maximizes patient safety.$5,000 Sign On BonusPay Range:$23.31-$36.36/hourEmployment Type:Full Time Days, 80 hours every 2 weeksSchedule:Varied days, 10 hour shiftsRequirements:Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience in Surgical Technology, BLS for the Healthcare Provider by 60 days after hire requiredEssential Functions:Provides sterile instruments and supplies throughout the surgical procedurePerforms appropriate surgical counts throughout the surgical procedureCreates and maintains a sterile and safe environmentPrepares surgical cases with the necessary equipment, supplies, instruments, and medications/solutions for each procedureExpedites procedure by anticipating the needs of the physician through proper selection of appropriate equipment, instruments, and suppliesSupports the operation of the unit by completing assigned tasks such as inventory, stocking, and cleaning of assigned areasThis position includes weeknight, weekend, and holiday call.Holland Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer, please see our EEO policy#J-18808-Ljbffr
