Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13 week Rapid Response Travel contract. As an MS RN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the medical surgical and post-surgical units of a hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients, be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This is a great opportunity to travel and learn new nursing techniques while experiencing the beauty and culture of Elizabethton, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans

Requirements:

  • A current Registered Nursing License
  • A minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute care facility
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification required
