Job Responsibilities:
•Manage accounts payable transactions manually, including sorting, matching, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
•Perform detailed 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
•Process and reconcile freight invoices, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and adherence to contract terms.
•Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters in a professional and timely manner.
•Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounts payable workflows and contribute to the implementation of streamlined procedures.
•Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP) to input data accurately, generate reports, and maintain accounts payable records.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
•3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
•Demonstrated knowledge of manual accounts payable processes, including 3-way matching and freight invoice processing.
•Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
