Pricing Data Specialist

- Evaluate and execute requests by branches to change established prices or quote new prices and update system with approved changes.
- Enters, maintains, and audits customer contracts and special price files with appropriate branch, Product Manager and/or Pricing System Admin approval in a timely manner.
- Prepare, submit, and reconcile vendor/customer rebates within 5 business days of the month.
- Assist with software management as it relates to pricing.
- Coordinate management and review of vendor/customer contracts and price files as directed by Pricing Systems Administrator/Manager, Product Managers, branch personnel or pricing stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation of processes to improve internal pricing practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the development and continual improvement of our pricing strategy, structure, and culture.
- Communicates actionable recommendations and impact through effective presentation and reporting.
- Assist in improving tools, reporting and processes for all pricing stakeholders to make the selling and pricing process easier and more effective as directed by the Pricing Systems Administrator/Manager or other pricing stakeholders.
- Be aware of any pricing or margin trends, tools, or strategies within our industries.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree from accredited college or university or two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must understand data entry and customer services processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high level of attention to detail, and possession of excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Skilled in Microsoft office, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of data retrieval and storage systems.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with end-user training and support.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. There is potential for eye strain from reading detailed materials and looking at a computer screen. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboards at a moderate skill level. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
