Come join us in southeast Iowa Walljasper Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice (70 small/30 large) in Ft. Madison and West Point. Well established in the community with 2 locations. Growing client list with room to expand interests for large and small animal. Gas anesthesia, monitoring equipment, dental machine, ultrasound, digital rads and portable chute. We emphasize a family friendly, small-town atmosphere. We are currently a 2 doctor practice looking to expand with 1-2 more associates. On-call rotated for current clients only and only for true emergencies. We work hard and take pride in our patient care, while also having fun as a team We also provide impound services for the city of Fort Madison including medical workup and adoption of non-claimed animals. Southeast Iowa has a lot to offer by the Mississippi River. Many river town festivals, water activities, state parks, golf courses, nearby Burlington, Iowa for more restaurants/shopping. Many opportunities to be involved with the community and many small communities to choose in the area. A great place to raise kids with some great school districts We will pay travel costs to visit us/interview
Associates will have a 4-4.5 day work week with rotating on-call for weekends/nights. We enjoy providing mentorship, and new graduates are welcome to apply. Below are benefits:
