Is familiar with indication for use, action, and major side effects of medications administered. EDUCATION: Graduation from an approved registered professional nursing program. QUALIFICATIONS: Active, current Illinois license to practice professional nursing. One year as an RN in a hospital (general care) or long-term care setting with adults preferred. Good communication skills. Interest in working with older adults. Ability to direct nursing assistants. Knowledge of aging changes and common health problems of geriatric patients. Current CPR certification required
