Position Description:Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmWork Location: ENT, Otolaryngology at The Kirklin ClinicThe Audiology Division of UABs Department of Otolaryngology is seeking skilled Audiologists to join our growing, dynamic team. The audiology program boasts a long history of providing excellent care to patients with otologic and audiologic concerns. Audiologists practice as part of a collaborative interprofessional team along side Neurotologists, Head and Neck surgeons, and Otolaryngologists.Qualified candidates should have experience with a variety of diagnostic testing including: comprehensive audiograms, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, acoustic reflexes, videonystagmography, electrocochleography, auditory brainstem response testing, and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials. In addition to diagnostic testing, the selected candidate will be part of a comprehensive amplification and implantable hearing devices team. Doctor of Audiology (AUD) required for post 2007 graduates. Work experience may not substitute for education requirements.Preferred: ENG, ECOG and ABR experienceLICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:Current Alabama license in audiology from the state of Alabama required. If licensed within another state, licensure must be updated within 30 (thirty) days of employment.
