The MLT or MT performs various clinical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Receives or obtains specimens for lab analysis. Prepares and applies techniques used in fields of blood bank, bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, serology, urinalysis, chemistry and morphological examinations. Must maintain and record lab results and quality control in all areas RequirementsMust have an Associate degree from a MLT program in an accredited institution required, or eligible for ASCP registry or Must be certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT or equivalent). Must have a minimum of 1 year of MT or MLT experience preferred.
