Job Summary We are seeking a

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

to join our team As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be performing high-quality PET/CT exams and nuclear medicine on patients with a variety of needs, administering proper radionuclides in a safe manner, and monitoring the patient's well-being during the entire exam, ensuring they are both comfortable and safe. You will also answer questions from patients about the procedure and tests, and work closely with the rest of the team and the patient’s physician to get the required results. The ideal candidate has the necessary licenses for the position, excellent communication skills, and a desire to help people. Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT exams on incoming patients, and answer their questions

Candidate will have three days a week of nuclear med tech cases, the other two days of the week will be spent assisting the clinician

Ensure all equipment is in working order, and alert management if there are issues

Maintain the appropriate stock of supplies

Administer radionuclides to patients

Monitor the patient throughout the entire procedure to ensure they are both comfortable and safe

Qualifications

Required license by the state

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate personality, with a desire to help others

Good organizational skills

Familiarity with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite
