A Propos du Role:

Le/la Senior Data Privacy Attorney H/F fait partie intgrante de l'quipe de Technology & Information Services de Latham & Watkins. Vous travaillerez au sein du Global Data Privacy Office ("GDPO"), tout en collaborant troitement avec la fonction Procurement du cabinet et l'quipe Security Review afin d'examiner les contrats des fournisseurs et autres relations commerciales impliquant le transfert de donnes personnelles, y compris la rdaction, l'examen et la ngociation des contrats, et en veillant ce que les exigences relatives aux transferts internationaux de donnes personnelles soient respectes. Ce poste est ouvert au sein de nos bureaux de Londres, Paris, Madrid ou Munich, en mode hybride (alternance prsentiel et tltravail).

Responsabilits et Qualifications:

Parmi les missions cls du poste :

  • Examiner, et ce en lien avec les membres du GDPO et d'autres parties prenantes internes cls, des projets impliquant la collecte ou l'utilisation de donnes personnelles, et conseiller sur les risques lis la vie prive et la conformit avec les lois locales sur la protection des donnes personnelles ; si ncessaire, raliser des valuations d'impact sur la protection des donnes
  • Collaborer avec lquipe Information Governance et d'autres avocat(e)s spcialis(e)s au sein du cabinet pour rpondre aux demandes des individus souhaitant exercer leurs droits en vertu des lois applicables sur la protection des donnes au Royaume-Uni, dans l'UE et aux Etats-Unis, y compris les demandes d'accs ou de suppression de donnes personnelles
  • Mettre en uvre les mesures ncessaires afin de dmontrer la conformit avec les lois applicables sur la protection des donnes, y compris la gestion et la mise jour des registres des activits de traitement, l'assistance avec la cartographie des donnes, et les revues de gestion des fournisseurs, en lien avec les members du GDPO
  • Examiner et mettre jour les avis de transparence, les politiques de confidentialit et les procdures au niveau global
  • Coordonner et contribuer aux audits de confidentialit des donnes des bureaux du cabinet travers le monde

  • Dmontrez de solides comptences en matire de gestion de projet et d'organisation, y compris la capacit de bien grer son temps, d'tablir des priorits de manire efficace, d'anticiper les obstacles et de grer des chances multiples
  • Savez prendre des initiatives pour amliorer la posture du cabinet en matire de conformit
  • Avez une formation en droit, avec une qualification professionnelle telle que CIPP/E, CIPM ou equivalent
  • Bnficiez dune exprience dans la pratique du droit, et dans le conseil sur les lois de protection des donnes du Royaume-Uni et de l'UE y compris le RGPD
  • Disposez dune exprience dans le conseil en protection des donnes personnelles des cabinets d'avocats ou socits de conseil/ services professionnels.
  • Matrisez parfaitement la communication en anglais et en franais, tant lcrit qu loral
