**Description**
Lake of Isles is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Golf Shop Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.
Key Responsibilities of the Golf Shop Attendant:
* Assist the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals on the daily management of golf operations
* Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play; reconciles daily tee sheets
* Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
* Promotes all club golf activities.
* Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
* Assist with maintaining proper records and billing of storage and lockers for membership.
* Assist golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games.
* Monitors all members scores, reports handicapping to USGA and bills members.
* Follows established opening and closing procedures.
* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
* Performs other duties as required.
Work experience and education requirements:
* Prefer previous golf course and/or retail experience
* High School Diploma
* Prefer some College or College Degree, or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Traits:
* Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry
* Experienced in written and oral business communication
* Experienced in computer user including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Publisher. Proficient in other applications, i.e., email, internet, and database
* Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
* Self-motivated with desire to promote and market
* Service and customer focused attitude
* Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
