Specialization: Cardiology Interventional Job Summary: Austin Heart would like to recruit a NP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location. Qualified Candidates: Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA Working with one interventional cardiologist Cardiology experience preferred Call: 12 weekends a year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Primarily outpatient clinic only Start date: ASAP Licensed in the state of Texas The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills Incentive/Benefits Package: St. David's Healthcare/HCA employed opportunity Competitive salary Full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with matching and CME About Heart Hospital of Austin: Heart Hospital of Austin, which is part of St. David's HealthCare, is a 72-bed hospital and one of the highest performing cardiovascular facilities in the nation, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
