Looking for an entry level opportunity at a fast paced, growing company? Join the Douglas Assembly team as an Electrical Assembler. Learn, develop, and apply electrical assembly skills along the side of experienced Assemblers in building automation packaging machines for our valued customers.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Advancement and growth opportunities available to continue to grow your career.

A day to day glimpse of responsibilities include:
  • Performing a variety of electrical functions that include wiring machines and attaching electrical components
  • Learning to read and understand machine documentation, electrical schematics, machine requirements and company standards
  • Identifying and locating all of the required electrical components that match machine specifications.
  • Daily using power and hand tools, testing and measuring devices
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly tool box, cart, shop equipment and surrounding areas

The person in this position must be able to learn how to read and understand machine assembly blue prints, apply machine assembly job methods and instructions in a timely manner, use hand and power tools safely, and read and accurately use measuring devices.
